On 26th February 2026, the Installation meeting of St Michael’s Chapter No. 1630 – the Lodge’s designated Chapter – proved to be a memorable and uplifting occasion.

Excellent Companion Nigel Vines installed E. Comp Charles Ingram as Most Excellent Zerubbabel, with the ceremony conducted in the presence of the Grand Superintendent Philip Hall, who praised the exceptional standard of the work throughout the evening. E. Comp John Payne was installed as Joshua, while E. Comp Jeff Bull took office as Director of Ceremonies. Comp. Simon Archer continues in his role as Scribe N.

Nigel’s year in the Chair has been a particularly successful one for the Chapter, with four new members exalted and two joining members welcomed into the fold – three of whom came from The Lodge of the Round Table No. 8424. The momentum looks set to continue, with a further three brethren already proposed and due to be exalted during the coming year.
